Local dancers compete at Platinum Nationals — newspaper feature

Local dancers compete at Platinum Nationals

SGDC traveled to Panama City Beach for Platinum Nationals — soloists Savannah Elrod, Alenea Holley, Gracie Betts, and Laney Betts represented the studio with confidence and heart.

Our Senior Lyrical piece "A Love Letter to NYC" earned a Platinum Award and a Judges Award — "Simply Sweet." Our Senior Tap routine "Small Town Girl" received Platinum, Champion of the Category, 6th Overall High Score, and a Tap Choreography Award for Kennedy Elliott — and was invited back to perform at the Gala. Macey Kinsey earned a Platinum adjudication in the Teen Solo division.

We are beyond proud of every SGDC dancer for their hard work, dedication, growth, and heart throughout the week.
